Sealant Curing Time and Usage Precautions

Curing Time:

Surface Drying Time: 5-60 minutes (room temperature 25℃), fast-drying silicone sealant approximately 5 minutes, polyurethane sealant approximately 30 minutes.

Complete Curing: 24-72 hours, humidity ≥50% can accelerate curing.

Usage Method:

Clean the substrate, ensuring it is dry and free of oil.

Apply the sealant evenly, with a thickness ≤10mm. For thicker applications, apply in layers.

Avoid contact with water or movement before curing.

Reason: Curing speed is affected by temperature, humidity, and sealant type. For example, high humidity can shorten the curing time of silicone sealant.

The curing time of sealants varies depending on the product type.

For example, the operating time for high-temperature resistant silicone sealant is 0.5 hours, and complete curing requires 4 hours (at 25℃). Before use, ensure the substrate is clean and dry. Strictly adhere to a 1:1 mixing ratio. For best results, the application thickness should be controlled at 3-5mm. We provide technical guidance to ensure construction quality.
