Precautions Before Installation
Verify Parameters and Drawings
Before installation, verify that the specifications, quantity, and material of the embedded parts match the design drawings. Check for defects such as rust, cracks, and deformation on the surface. Clean away surface oil and dirt to ensure proper adhesion to the concrete. If the embedded part's position conflicts with the reinforcing steel, contact the designer for adjustment. Unauthorized cutting of structural reinforcing steel is strictly prohibited.
Pre-control of Positioning Accuracy: The centerline deviation of the embedded steel plate must not exceed 3mm, the centerline deviation of the grouting sleeve must be less than 1mm, and the position deviation of the lifting ring must be controlled within 5mm. A total station must be used to verify the coordinate positioning.
Precautions During Installation
Positioning and Fixing
Embedded parts must be reliably connected to the main structural reinforcing steel or fixing frame. Welding should be used if necessary to prevent displacement during concrete pouring.
The fixing frame must have sufficient rigidity and stability and must not be shared with formwork or reinforcing steel fixing frames to avoid overall displacement during pouring.
Anchor bars must be placed inside the outermost row of main reinforcing bars in the concrete component to reduce the risk of displacement during pouring.
Precision Control
Precision requirements vary depending on the scenario. Deviations must be controlled within acceptable ranges: Elevation deviation of curtain wall embedded parts ≤ 10mm, horizontal position deviation ≤ 20mm; Position deviation of ordinary steel plate embedded parts controlled within ±5mm.
Process Protection
Straight anchor bars and anchor plates should be T-welded. For diameters greater than 20mm, through-hole plug welding is recommended. Bending anchor bars into L-shapes for welding is prohibited.
During concrete pouring, the vibrator must not collide with the embedded part fixing frame. Direct pouring onto embedded parts is prohibited. Position changes must be monitored throughout the pouring process.
Exposed bolt threads must be protected with protective sleeves to prevent contamination and damage during pouring. Exposed metal parts must undergo rust prevention treatment beforehand.
